Building Your Own Wooden Swing Sets
What you need in building wooden swing sets is lumber and some tools such as bolts, screws, screwdriver, hammer, pencil and so on. First, you need to lay out the crossbeam and then add some stakes. Next, mark the lot for two holes and dig them. After that, cut two beams and attach them to create the footers. One footer or vertical post will consist of two beams.
On the crossbeam, drill some holes for the joints. Then, connect the beam with the vertical post by setting them with bolts. Turn this structure upright and make sure that the crossbeam is perfectly in horizontal line. The posts must be in the same height. Next, secure the structure with cement. Finally, to complete the DIY wooden swing sets, cut the seats and set them with screw swing and nylon rope.
